Exciting news!! We received a generous sponsorship to host another event (A Place at the Table) set for 10/31/2015 at 8:00 AM! We are actively looking for volunteers to help with the meal preparation and distribution. If you or someone you know if available, please consider joining us for another feeding event! At this event we will be serving sandwiches, snacks, and water to displaced individuals and families in San Diego. The volunteer spots fill up really quickly, so don't forget to visit the link below to reserve your spot! We hope to see you then!
To our fans! We apologize for the emails received today for past events. Our servers were being updated, and previously scheduled mailings were sent out during the update. As a result, you may have received an email or two about events in the past. We apologize for the mix up, and will work on reducing such glitches in the future!
Sponsors and volunteers came together to prepare and distribute 200 meals for displaced individuals and families in San Diego.
We received confirmation of our tax exempt status last week (awesome!!). We were able to compile and mail out the 2014 tax letters on February 23. If you need information or would like an electronic version of your tax letter, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This past weekend, Akhawaty Incorporated hosted it’s Warm Heads Warm Hearts event in San Diego CA. The event was a great success! We were able to raise enough support to distribute over 230 winter packages, far surpassing our original goal of 100 winter packages for the San Diego location.
